For the past three years we have attended the annual Christmas concert of The Stadacona Band, the Halifax-based band of The Royal Canadian Navy. And for the past three years we have come away so impressed and awed by their talent and the talent of their special guests.
The band tours cities in the Atlantic provinces each Christmas season, performing their Christmas Special, with home base Halifax being the final stop. All the concerts are free. All you have to do is reserve a seat.
This year the theme was sunny, festive and fabulous so I thought I would share some of it with you because it is well worth sharing.
Our seats were great. Front row, but because of that it was difficult to see many of those talented musicians but you will certainly be able to hear them.

Christmas already. It only seems like days ago I was saying I must get more organised for this one. Looks like a fun concert.

It was! I am also less prepared this year. Luckily no bunches of visitors are expected so I feel I can get away with it.
