At 158, you are still beautiful.
I love the fact that your water, trees and mountains are still such a big part of our identity.
I love the fact that we, as a people, can still laugh at ourselves.
And this year, more than ever, I love the fact that our leaders are civilized and respectful and willing to make reasonable compromises, if necessary, to make our lives and our country a better place.
Happy Birthday Canada. You make us proud.
